Miss Sophie

Miss Sophie started dancing at the age of five and has now been dancing and performing for the past 17 years. She has multiple dance examinations under her belt including the highest Comdance studio examination for tap, Advanced Gold Star. Sophie has attended numerous dance workshops with leading industry professionals including Marko Panzic and Briar Nolet. She has also performed in numerous productions including “Grease” and “Thoroughly Modern Millie”. Sophie has now made the shift to teaching and choreographing and has completed her Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management, while simultaneously studying a dual degree at UQ. She currently teaches and choreographs across the Brisbane region. Miss Sophie has led competitive troupes to winning titles and was the choreographer for St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School’s 2023 musical, “Strictly Ballroom”. She has also worked on television shows, such as the 2022 Stan Series “Joe vs Carole”.

Miss Sophie’s passion lies in teaching the next generation and empowering young people to be the best dancers they can be. Miss Sophie is delighted to meet the dancers of Radiance Dance Academy in 2024!
